If you are arriving into Amman Airport (known as Queen Alia International Airport) and then want to go to the Dead Sea directly, there are only a few options. While most information seekers are usually looking for public transportation options from the airport to the Dead Sea, there are unfortunately no options to come by. The only public transportation from Amman Airport goes to Amman. So if public transport is what you are looking for, you will need to first go to Amman and not directly to the Dead Sea.
Going to Amman on arrival into Jordan before going to the Dead Sea can be inconvenient, so here are your other options to get to the Dead Sea.
Rental Car from Amman Airport to the Dead Sea
If you plan on roadtripping around Jordan independently, then getting a rental car on arrival at the airport is your best bet. There are several options on rental cars, you can check them out online here.
Private Transfer from AMM to the Dead Sea
The most common way to get to the Dead Sea from Amman Airport and one that I have personally used, is a private transfer booked in advance. You can choose one from Viator (there are several listed) or other trusted options are welcome pickups or kiwitaxi.
I like that welcome pickups and kiwi taxi are very transparent with the costs and details of the transfer. It is always nice to know there is someone waiting for me on arrival.
