Instagram photos have made this repllica train a “must-do” when in Wadi Rum. Its really easy to see, you pass by it on the way to the Wadi Rum visitors centre. But if you want to experience the reenaction of the 1916 Arab revolt, you need to time your visit for their weekly performances.
The adventure resembles some events of the Great Arab Revolt, and it begins when you board the Hijaz Railway train, accompanying an Ottoman force heading to recapture a fortress lost to the revolt fighters. But the fighters, have a plan of their own.

The cost is JD20 for adults. Children are JD10.
When does the Wadi Rum Train Run
Unformatinly the train only runs two times a week. If this experience is important to you, you need to be in Wadi Rum in the afternoon on Sundays or Wednesdays.
Can I ride the Train without watching the reenactment
The train is always parked on the way to the Wadi Rum visitor centre and you can take photos with the train at any time. If the Wadi Rum train schedule does not work for you, this is the best option to get photos with the train.
