Amman sees average highs of 27°C and lows of 14°C. Petra is similar with average highs of 29°C and lows of 13°C. Aqaba and the Dead Sea see highs in the mid 30s and lows in the mid 20s.

Petra is always a must visit and can see crowds come and go. Give yourself time to explore the site and avoid the crowds. It is not too hot to enjoy the desert of Wadi Rum in Jordan in May.
