Jordan temperatures in May are going to vary around the country. With highs over 1200 meters above sea level and the lowest point on earth at the Dead Sea, there is a huge climate difference. Amman sees average highs of 27°C and lows of 14°C. Petra is similar with average highs of 29°C and lows of 13°C. Aqaba and the Dead Sea see highs in the mid 30s and lows in the mid 20s.
